I want to start out by welcoming you to the Veterans of War multi-gaming organization. This community was created in 2010 as a means for players who were playing Star Trek Online to expand to other games. We've expanded into a number of games in our history, some of which we still support and others that we pulled our support from due to a number of factors.

The immediate goal of this organization is to provide for its members both the resources necessary to be successful, and a continued expansion that will ensure that the organization doesn't become stagnant. One thing we learned in the past is that without evolving, this organization will suffer and implode on itself.

I personally have put countless hours, days, and months into this organization and funded the majority of its resources. I do this every month because I believe in what the organization stands for. I believe in what can be accomplished, and I believe that we can really make an imprint on the gaming community.

The end goal for this organization for me is the ensure that it continues to grow both in membership and supported games. I want to see competitive play throughout its supported catalog, and people enjoying their time here. I want members to create lasting friendships and gain some experiences here they might have otherwise missed out on elsewhere.

First and foremost real life comes first. At no point should any member feel like they need to put life on a back burner for this organization. At the same time I want people to feel like that no matter what they might be dealing with on and off the “battlefield” that we are here for them and will do what we can to support them.

The name “Veterans of War” can be misconstrued with current events. We're not talking about “real” wars here and we're not talking about service members from the military. Each and every game has a conflict... otherwise it wouldn't be very interesting. Each and every game has veterans of those conflicts that have demonstrated their ability to succeed. What we want people to do is be able to come here and gain knowledge and experience from our members and at the same time bring what they've learned along to share with everyone else.

Collectively I want to see this as hub of knowledge and experience in a varying number of games that people can feel comfortable with. I want to see people coming and going on the website, TeamSpeak, etc that are contributing to the organization as a whole and to one another.

If you're looking for a laid back atmosphere, or hardcore competitive play... you're at the right place. We want this organization to fit most any type of player and allow them to enjoy their time here and not think of this as a second job.
